Plagiarism an Introduction - Workshop In-Person

Part of our "Wrap your head around Referencing" series of workshops, this workshop is designed for those with no prior knowledge or understanding of the term PLAGIARISM within referencing. It will outline what is meant by Plagiarism, how to avoid it and why it is so important in academic research and study.

 

By the end of this workshop, you will have gained skills in how to:

  • Understand what is understood by the term Plagiarism
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the different types of Plagiarism
  • Developed confidence in what you can use in your research in order to avoid Plagiarism
  • Appreciate its importance and the serious academic consequences of Plagiarism

 

The workshop will be held in person in the Library Learning Space (LLS), which is located within the Peter Marsh Library.
