Discover@UGM Beginner Searching - Workshop In-Person
Part of our "Unravelling Research" series of workshops, this workshop will introduce you to Discover@UGM, the Library's main search engine that allows you to search almost all of the resources available at the Library when looking for information for assignments, essays etc. This workshop is designed for those students with no prior knowledge of or experience, or very low confidence of using Discover@UGM.
By the end of this workshop, you will have gained skills in how to:
- Understand how to locate and access Discover@UGM
- Demonstrate how to use the basic search techniques in Discover@UGM
- Developed confidence in basic searching
- Save your searches and results so that you can refer to them later
The workshop will be held in person in the Library Learning Space (LLS), which is located within the Peter Marsh Library.
