Journal Club (Health) - Workshop In-Person
Part of our "Unravelling Research" series of workshops, this will help you develop your understanding on how to critically appraise research. This workshop is designed for students who are studying programmes or modules within the School of Medicine or the School of Health, Science and Society.
This will be an interactive workshop which you will be expected to participate in. You will be sent an article to read three days prior, which will be discussed in the workshop.
By the end of this workshop, you will have:
- A basic understanding of different approaches to critical appraisal
- An awareness of two main types of checklists, CASP and JBI
- Developed confidence in your academic voice
The workshop will be held in the Institute of Medical Sciences Library.
