Identifying Fake News and How It Spreads - Workshop In-Person
Part of our "Finding Information" series of workshops, this will help you improve your critical thinking skills and navigate complex information. This workshop is designed for all students, across all levels of study.
By the end of this workshop, you will have:
- An understanding how misinformation and disinformation spread
- Learnt how misleading content is created and amplified
- Peaked curiosity about how social networks shape what you see
- Developed confidence in recognising misleading content
The workshop will be held in the Library Learning Space (LLS), located within the Peter Marsh Library.
